About Us
In 2012 Travis and Wendy Williams began Youth 4 Excellence in the Willowbrook Corner Community of Willowbrook, Illinois. Originally from the South Suburbs, they with their children moved to the Willowbrook area following the call of God. Seeing that because it was in an unincorporated area, the community lacked many resources and services for the youth, Travis and Wendy along with some friends and supporters in the local school district and surrounding communities began to create activities for the young people. Youth 4 Excellence Inc. started with Travis and Wendy as Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus in “Winter Wonder Fest” to give the children and their families some holiday cheer during the Christmas season and the "Believe In Yourself Step Team" for some summer fun. We grew from about 30 families the first year to now over 200 attendees including volunteers.
Youth 4 Excellence has since partnered with the school district, our local library and the community to sponsor a Book Club, a College Club for 8th grade students, we do a monthly workshop with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission and college fairs at Navy Pier and the NAACP. We sponsor a Saturday program for students who need assistance with school work or want a safe place to meet with their peers. We offer mentorship to the youth and the families in the community and are always available to assist with the different aspect of their lives.

is to give youth hope, by feeding their body, mind and spirit. We strive to, inspire them through various levels of education, guide them in life's journey's to cultivate and expand their horizons.

We endeavor to mentor our youth and encourage their spiritual healing. With our support, they will have the ability to evolve and grow into a young adult striving for a standard of excellence.
